What is Homie?
But with a Superpower
BUILT BY NATIONAL RESCUES
5 YEARS OF FIELD RESEARCH
Homie is the software a dog rescue runs on: the dog board, intake, medical records, fosters, applications, messages, and donations, all in one place. It’s time rescue workers had tools that actually kept up.
TOP DOWN ACTIONS
You and the dogs deserve the best in class tech for rescue.
See exactly where support is needed, manage fosters, fill backup support.
Less time coordinating,
more dogs placed.
DOG PASSPORT
Every dog gets a page worth sharing
Your fosters’ daily photos and notes become your marketing material, Fosters are reminded to keep the story flowing daily and during any notable moments.
Fosters and Rescues collaborate on keeping the dogs page updated, with the rescue having the ability to select what is shown.
One link per dog, shareable anywhere, adopters land on a page built to make them fall in love, support, donate and cheer the dog all the way home.

Photos and updates
Fosters are expected to keep photo and video content incoming, whether for promoting the dog or reporting behavior, medical or simply uncertainty.
Rescues manage what gets seen by the public on a dog’s passport profile.
The dog’s real story
Personality, quirks, and what they need, written in the foster’s own words, audited by the rescue currently caring for that dog.
One link, share anywhere
Dogs deserve a centralized place - a link that can be shared in a story, a bio, a text message - we lean heavily into social media with getting dogs seen.
A page adopters love
Visitors land on a warm, ready-to-adopt profile, not a spreadsheet row. Eyeballs lead to adoptions, shares, potential new fosters and donation opportunities where 100% of the donation goes to the rescue it was intended for.
A board you can read at a glance.

The compounding part
Most people who click a dog’s link won’t adopt that dog. That’s the opportunity. Homie turns warm visitors into the fosters, volunteers, and donors you’ll rely on next month.
01
They click your link
A potential adopter lands on the dog’s page from a single social post or story.
02
They fall for the mission
Maybe this dog isn’t the one, but now they care about your rescue — Homie routes that goodwill into fostering, volunteering, or giving.
03
They become capacity
Import your dogs, invite your fosters, keep your system of record. Homie keeps the flywheel alive.
Foster pledges and chained placements.

THE FEATURES, PUT PLAINLY
What Homie Helps run for your team.
Every feature exists to strap some rockets on your rescue's boots.
The dog board:
Every dog, every stage, one glance. Status changes confirm their side effects — with an undo.
Automations
45 ready-made recipes for reminders, follow-ups, and loop-closing. Toggles, not workflow builders.
Applications
Adoption and foster applications flow straight into the board. Configure, don’t code.
Dog Passports
One permanent record per dog — health, behavior, journey — that travels with the dog for life.
Donations
100% of every gift passes through the 501(c)(3) untouched. Receipts handled, trust kept.
A per-rescue agent answers the routine questions from fosters and adopters. Busywork, never judgment calls.
